Here's a little look at our life via Instagram this last week.

Last weekend we took a little getaway to the beach.


And tried Crawfish Pizza for the first time.


On Monday, we sent our oldest to school with Alligator Jambalaya in her lunch box.


This weekend we finally had Baby Girl's birthday party. She's crazy about zebra print.


There were even zebra stripes in the cake.


There wasn't a lot of sleep happening a the sleepover party so Baby Girl spent Saturday afternoon catching up on zzzz's.

Weekend Beach Getaway

We went on a little beach getaway this past weekend. It was just a short 1/2 an hour drive from the house. It was fun and relaxing, just exactly what we needed. It was my first chance to really test out my new "beach friendly" camera. I'll share more about the new camera soon in another post. For now, here's a look at our weekend through the lens of my camera.

Baby Girl turned 9 on 8/22.
 

And we gave homemade Chicago style deep dish pizza a try.


We prepared for Hurricane Isaac.


We didn't get much hurricane action but we did get some tornado warnings.


My sweet husband provided some sunshine on a grey day.
 

And God showed off His handiwork.
