And I love Free To Be Me by Francesca Battistelli. It took me a long time to really get it but I finally am at a place in my life where I truly understand and enjoy my freedom through Christ despite the rips and dents.
As a mom of two young girls, the song More Beautiful You by Johnny Diaz goes straight to my heart. I want to raise my girls to understand that their true beauty is within and that they were created perfectly by God.
Natalie Grant is one of my favorite artists. When I listen to her songs I always feel like she's been right where I've been in her life. While I am getting better as this, I am guilty at times of putting up a front and not always letting other's in on my struggles. I feel I need to be strong and just deal with the challenges I'm facing instead of trusting God to take care of things. Her song Perfect People is a great reminder to allow myself to be real and know I can't do it on my own. I may not be perfect but I can be changed by a perfect God.
On long trips in the car I can't always pick up KLOVE. If the girls are with me we'll usually listen to one of their CDs which means we listen to a lot of High School Musical 1, 2 & 3. This song usually gets a lot of play.

I had never heard that song "More Beautiful You" before - I love it! With three girls, that's the message I want them to hear. I blogged about it :)
Pam-We not only hear it we watch it. I'm amazed at how often they still want to watch those movies.
Tammy-Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad to hear you like the song. I love it!
